What’s the Idea?
Stuck at home but want to be culturally enriched? Why not take a virtual museum tour from one of the world’s great museums?
What’s the story
With COVID-19 many of us are working, schooling, exercising and communicating from home.
For those that like to visit museums, believe it or not, now is the perfect time to see museum exhibits from the comfort of your own home.
You just need to take a virtual museum tour!
Perhaps there’s a famous museum you may have thought about going to previously, but it was too far away or you didn’t have the time.
Many museums have opened their virtual doors to the public offering you a museum experience from your sofa or kitchen table via virtual tours.
People should do this because…?
Take a break from internet surfing and channel flicking on Netflix and enrich your cultural side.
These sites can also help guide older students who are working on various projects.
There is something out there to suit everyone!
