They are super-simple so the kids can do them all by themselves, without supervision (as long as they are old enough to use scissors).

As long as you have a printer then you will probably have everything you need in the house:
- Black and white or colour printer
- A4 printer paper or card
- Felt tips, colour pencils, or paints
Looking for stuff for kids to do? Try these ideas
STEP 1: Choose your thank you card design
We have 5 free, printable, thank you card designs for kids to colour in – just let your little ones pick the one they like the best.
(Or of course they could do more than one!)
We have used the spaceman card for our example, but you could also choose: Snuggle Owls, Cheeky Monkey, Day at the Beach, or Princess & Unicorn.
STEP 2: Print out your chosen thank you card design
Each thank you card is set up to print in A4 already, so you just need to download the PDF file and print it as you normally would.
It’s nice to do it on card if you have some, but don’t worry if not, you can just use ordinary A4 printer paper.
You will end up with something that looks like this…
STEP 3: Glue a second piece of paper to the back of the card design
If you are printing on card, then skip this step.
This is to make sure the thank you card is stiff enough to stand up.
I used a glue stick, but you can use any glue suitable for kids.
Make sure the 2 pieces of paper are well stuck together.
STEP 4: Cut round the dotted grey line
Once the two pieces of paper are firmly stuck together, cut round the dotted grey line.
If your kids are still very little, you might want to do this for them.
You will end up with something like this…
STEP 5: Fold the card carefully in half
This will create the card, ready for the kids to colour in.
If you want to make sure it is absolutely straight, you may want to help the kids with this bit.
STEP 6: Get colouring!
Now for the fun bit! Get the kids colouring!
